I tried something new with the canvas sides, creating this ‘zoomed’ effect and loving it! ✨

These will be sold at my market stall following the ’Admidst the Valley and Hills House and Garden tour’ this Saturday 8th November.

What have I been doing?

I made a very spontaneous decision in January to move to Tasmania, Australia and work a harvest in the wine industry 🍷

For those who don’t know, I am a qualified winemaker. Winemaking was my first passion I discovered before I realised that creativity and acrylic painting comes first for me 🌈

No big canvas paintings have been created since I can’t bring all my art supplies with me, but small drawings with black ink pen has appeared which is very different to what I normally do because I never use the colour black! ♟️

I am currently working very long hours making sparkling wine 🥂 and don’t have time to paint. But right now I am swapping one passion for the other until I go back to what I love the most, painting 🎨

A mural of five beautiful mountains and the view from the sixth, in the South Island of New Zealand. Can you guess each one? 🏔
I painted this for a festival I attended over New Years as a challenge for myself as I had never done a mural before let alone a mobile one! 💪🏼

I tried something quite opposite to the art I normally do 🌈
A month ago I did an interactive art board for a bush doof (a party in the bush) 🎉
Instead of colourful mountains, I painted funky, trippy designs using black and white! I never use black in my paintings but it was so much fun and a nice change 🦋
I discovered I prefer using bright colours because that’s one aspect of my art that feeds my soul 🌻
