Ngatimoti-Motueka Valley people,
We understand that accidents and mistakes happen. However, the effort made to remove the offending vehicle is much more than the effort made to contact us or to fix the fence.
If anyone can shed some light as to who we may want to talk to regarding rectifying this situation, we’d be most appreciative.

As we anticipate the impending rain, our thoughts are with all our wonderful customers who’ve been battling hardships this last month.
We try not to think too far down the road for our sanity’s sake, but as we battle through the uncertainties and obstacles placed in our paddocks and minds, we will get through this.
It may not be pretty, we may have a few extra wrinkles and grey hairs when we do, but we will get through this.

If anybody is at their wits end, can’t bare to talk about their worries with loved ones, or just simply can’t see a way out, please get in touch with us, or call 1737.

It’s amazing what a cuppa and a conversation can do for the soul.

There is potential for more flooding. Last Fridays even thankfully didn’t come to much. We’re hoping for the same tomorrow, HOWEVER, we must plan accordingly.

If your property is prone to flooding, please have an emergency kit handy ready to go incase.
Sort any low lying stock out ASAP.

Talk to your neighbours.
Call/visit anyone who may not use internet.
If you are concerned about anybody, call the Nelson Bays welfare team.

If it’s an emergency, Call 111 and like always, we’ll be there for you.

This last week has felt like a month.

The sheds cleaned up, the lane way is somewhat restored and the river is back in its natural path.

It’s been a heck of job and we’re so grateful to TG Contracting and crew for bringing all their gear and helping us sort this mess out. What was fertile land two weeks ago now looks like a quarry but atleast it’s not a river anymore 😅

We want to do something special with this beautiful Macrocarpa (? Feel free to correct me) Tree that fell with the sheer force of the water. Open to suggestions, thinking a table/bench for the vintage shed.

We are so overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support, machinery and people the last two days.
It’s been a big job but all these people have made it so much easier.
Feeding the crew
Getting the workshop cleaned up & back together,
Debris out of machinery,
Weigh bridge cleaned up & running,
Mud out of the parts room.
Mud out of the batch bathroom & laundry room.
Spreading gravel and levelling out the yard again.
Cleaning debris out of the fences and gates.
Removing all the debris, rubbish & written off equipment.
