It's all about finding the right balance.

In this kitchen, the gunmetal grey tap and dark cabinet hardware create a striking contrast against the crisp white island and cabinetry.

Warm timber elements soften the light and dark finishes, adding natural texture and helping everything feel connected rather than overly stark.

The result is a kitchen that feels contemporary, warm and beautifully considered.

A little throwback to a kitchen that shows modern doesn't have to mean losing character.

We love the way the beautiful timber island brings warmth and a natural element into this otherwise contemporary kitchen.

Paired with crisp white cabinetry and modern finishes, the timber creates contrast while helping the kitchen retain a sense of character and warmth.

It's a combination that still feels fresh, functional and timeless.

That awkward corner cupboard can be more useful than you think.

Pull out corner storage transforms a traditionally hard to reach part of the kitchen into practical, accessible storage.

Instead of digging through the back of a cupboard, cookware can be kept organised and pulled out when you need it, making better use of every centimetre available.

When you're planning a kitchen, it's often what's happening inside the cabinetry that makes the biggest difference to how the space works day to day.

Sometimes, keeping things simple makes the biggest impact.

The waterfall benchtop in this kitchen creates a clean, seamless finish by continuing the surface down the side of the island.

Its simple lines help the kitchen feel less cluttered and allow light to move through the space, while still letting the character of the surrounding home shine through.

It's a subtle design choice that gives the entire kitchen a polished, contemporary finish.

What a difference a thoughtful renovation can make. ✨

This kitchen has been transformed into a bright, modern space that feels more open and connected to the rest of the home.

Fresh cabinetry, a generous island, lighter finishes and a carefully considered layout all work together to give the kitchen a clean, contemporary feel while creating a practical space for everyday life.

Sometimes it's not just about changing how a kitchen looks. It's about changing how the whole space feels.

Make your kitchen island work harder.

For this kitchen, we designed cabinetry around the appliances to keep everything accessible without sacrificing valuable storage elsewhere in the room.

By incorporating that functionality into the island, we could also maintain a generous benchtop with plenty of room for food prep, serving and all the everyday moments that happen in the kitchen.

It's a great example of how thoughtful custom joinery can help you get more from the space you have.

A great open plan kitchen should feel like a natural part of the spaces around it.

Here are three things to consider when planning yours:

1️⃣ Create natural flow: Think about how you'll move between your kitchen, dining and living areas. A thoughtful layout can make the entire home easier to navigate and enjoy.
2️⃣ Connect with islands: An island can do more than provide extra bench space. It creates a natural connection between cooking, dining and living, giving everyone a place to gather.
3️⃣ Keep it cohesive: Complementary colours, materials and finishes help each area feel connected rather than like separate spaces.

When every element works together, an open plan kitchen can completely change the way you experience your home.

Bright, modern and designed to feel connected. ✨

For this kitchen renovation, we created a fresh, open space that flows beautifully into the surrounding living areas.

Crisp white cabinetry and light benchtops keep the kitchen feeling bright and spacious, while the timber flooring brings warmth and character into the finished design. The generous island creates a natural centre for everyday life, with plenty of room to prepare meals, gather and connect.

The result is a kitchen that feels clean and contemporary while still sitting comfortably within the character of the home.

When space is limited, custom cabinetry can make every centimetre count.

For this Lockwood kitchen, the timber cabinetry was designed to complement the home's existing timber walls, creating a finish that feels connected to the character of the house rather than added on afterwards.

It also provides valuable storage within a relatively small footprint, making better use of the available space while keeping the kitchen practical and uncluttered.

That's the advantage of custom joinery. It's designed specifically for your home, your space and the way you use it.
