Big changes 🩷
Last year I became very ill with unusual neurological issues that affected my ability to move, talk and work for a good few months. I had to make the call to wind back business and focus on getting well. This unfortunately meant having to let my amazing team go. They all found jobs within weeks of being given notice which is a testament to how awesome they are. I’ve been back up on my feet just working for myself for quite some time now, am fighting fit, and am so grateful to be feeling well again. Its true what they say about having a massive health scare and then seeing things from a new perspective. In saying that, I have now decided to go in a slightly different direction, accepting a new position at an Auckland based innovation company and I’m really excited to be heading back into the industrial sides of things again.
I want to thank everyone for their support over the last (nearly) ten years, all our customers, and our favourite builders Weinbox Builders who have become amazing friends and continued to check in to see how I’m doing.
I will still very much be involved in supporting women in the trades, giving advice to apprentices and hopefully (after settling into my new role) starting some kind of Saturday morning up-skilling workshop for those interested in learning basic motor control circuits, fault finding skills and other bits and pieces to get a head in their job.
I’ve been passing most of my work onto a really good dude called Jeff from Jeff Lake Electrical, give him a bell on 021 281 1170 and he will definitely see you right.
Im really excited for this next chapter! Thanks again for all your support, I wish you all well! 🩷
Cheers,
Amy xl
