They say tiling is 90% preparation... but they don’t usually mean rebuilding the whole wall! 🧱🔨

​When I first turned up to this job, the original wall was moving and built incorrectly. I couldn’t in good conscience tile over a failing structure—so we hit the brakes. 🛑

​Shoutout to Tom for coming in to rebuild the foundation and new wall properly as well as landscaping!

We took the opportunity to streamline the design from two corners down to the one clean 90° turn.

Finally got around to tiling it this week and what a result worth the wait! This stunning blue patchwork Porcelain tile finished with mapie 112 epoxy grout completely transforms the garden.

A bit of extra work at the start means this beauty isn’t going anywhere!

This little legend showed up today with his own tool belt, a death grip on the trowel, and enough confidence to tell me the grout lines weren’t straight enough!
