What an amazing night at the NZCB Gala Dinner. 👏🏆

A huge congratulations to our apprentice Caidan, who took home first place at the nzcertifiedbuilders Apprentice Challenge Nationals.

We couldn’t be prouder of what he’s achieved. His hard work, commitment to the trade, and growth over the past few years have been incredible to watch.

And not a bad-looking crew when we swap the work boots for suits.

Well done, Caidan. A massive achievement for you, your family, and the entire Younger Builders team.

Meet the YB Team – Corey-Jay

Corey-Jay has called Mangawhai home for the past 17 years and recently started his building apprenticeship after spending years labouring alongside his dad and his company.

He enjoys the challenge and constant learning that comes with building, along with the strong crew environment on site.

Seeing progress each day and being part of creating something from the ground up is what drives him.

Outside of work, he’s into rugby, fishing, DJing, and spending time with his mates, family, and girlfriend.

Ben is a key part of the Younger Builders crew, known for his reliability, steady work ethic, and getting the job done properly.

Outside of work, he’s a big family man who enjoys hunting, fishing, and diving whenever he gets the chance.
