We'd like to acknowledge how extremely devastating and difficult this last week has been for Hawke's Bay, Gisborne, and other regions across NZ. In some cases the pain will be severe. There are no words but to say your community grieves with you. 🖤

▪️ We want to shout out our incredible teams on the ground, who have poured blood, sweat, and tears into protecting and supporting our community whilst this disaster unravelled.

From the first glimpse of danger till now, our traffic management and civil and infrastructure teams especially have stood strong under extreme conditions, and continued to put our community first. For that we are so thankful and proud.

▪️ In addition to our emergency support crews, we are doing all we can to help our community and those affected by the floods. This week our team has volunteered to clean up properties and homes, donated supplies, and converted our office into a 24 hour hub for employees and their families to shower, cook and reset.

▪️ We have even taken eight new build homes off the market and fully furnished them to house eight employee families that lost their homes in the floods. 💔

We're so proud of our team for the resilience they've demonstrated in this difficult time, and the work they are doing for our community.

Our hearts go out to those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle. Our employees are fortunately all safe, but we are surrounded by unimaginable devastation and loss 💔

Over the last few days we have been helping the community wherever possible, volunteering to clean up properties and homes of those that were affected by the floods, and converting our office into a 24 hour hub for employees and their families to shower, cook and reset. We're so proud of our team for the resilience they've demonstrated in this difficult time, and the work they are doing for our community.

Our employees that are able to, have returned to site today and are working hard to deliver a number of new homes for those families that have suddenly been left without one. We're aiming to build more than 104 homes for our community across Hawke's Bay in the following 12 months.

We have been inundated with construction enquiries and as such, we've set up a TW Trades phone line specifically for clients impacted by the cyclone. Please call 0800 379 867 to talk to our team and they'll pass on your enquiry to our relevant trades division/s.

We are prioritising these jobs accordingly and are committed to doing our part to restore our beautiful region. Kia Kaha Hawke's Bay 🖤

As soon as we got the call that these houses are now emergency, we got ahold of a generator and the team have been smashing these houses out, not for Kainga ora for the people who have been effected by the floods, 3 identical 2bedroom units done in 5 days, with alot more following through, couple long nights and early mornings got the job done, very happy and proud of the boys,
