🏠🚧 Progress at 3 Woodland Drive 🚧🏠

We've been busy on site at 3 Woodland Drive, completing the foundations for four new homes for Pragma Homes. 🏑🏑🏑🏑

The first photos show the foundations formed, steel fixed, and ready to go βœ…πŸ”¨, while today's photo captures the crew getting stuck into the concrete pour as another key milestone is reached. πŸŒ…πŸš›πŸ’ͺ

Projects like this require plenty of planning, coordination, and attention to detail πŸ“‹πŸ“, especially when four homes are progressing side by side. It's great to see everything coming together and moving one step closer to the framing stage. πŸ—οΈβœ¨

A huge effort from the Bomax team and everyone involved and Falmax Concrete Ltd in getting these foundations across the line safely and efficiently. πŸ‘πŸ™Œ

🚧 Blockfill Day at Aparangi Village, Te Kauwhata 🚧

The Bomax team was back at Unit 4, 16 Northcrest Ave, Aparangi Village today, completing the blockfill for the foundation walls.

It was a perfect day on site, and a big thanks to Empire Concrete Pumps for helping us get the concrete exactly where it needed to go.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many of the Aparangi Village residents come out to watch from a safe distance (you can see a small group in the drone photo). When you're in the industry, you can sometimes forget just how impressive the process is. It was great to see so much interest as the block walls were filled and another stage of the foundation was completed.

The footings we poured a couple of weeks ago are now doing their job, supporting the block walls that will form the foundation for the home. It's always satisfying to see the next stage coming together.

Great weather, a great team effort, and another milestone completed for our friends at Classic Builders. πŸ’ͺβ˜€οΈ

🚧 A big week for the Bomax team! 🚧

We've kicked off work on a 17-unit development for Classic Builders at 1068 & 1070 River Road, Hamilton.

These photos show the steel portal footing pads currently being prepared beneath the foundations. This is a key stage of the project, providing the support required for the steel portal structure that will soon take shape.

Next week the steel portals will be erected, and once that's complete we'll be back on site to crack into the foundation works.

Plenty happening over the coming weeks, so keep an eye on our page for progress updates! πŸ’ͺπŸ—οΈ

🚧 Footings Complete at Aparangi Village, Te Kauwhata 🚧

Today the Bomax team completed the footing pour for Unit 4 at Aparangi Village, on behalf of Classic Builders Waikato.

These footings are the first stage of the foundation system and will support the reinforced block walls that will be constructed next. Once the block walls are in place, we'll return to complete the remaining foundation work.

Awesome effort from the crew and Empire Concrete Pumps getting this one poured despite the Waikato weather doing its best to keep things interesting. πŸ’ͺ🌧️

We're looking forward to getting back on site for the next stage.

Meet The Team - Sammy

This week we're introducing Samiuela Folau, better known around Bomax as Sammy πŸ‘·β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ

Sammy's favourite part of the job is working alongside the crew, tackling challenges together and finding the best solutions to get the job done right πŸ€πŸ”¨. He also enjoys travelling to different sites and says some of the places we work have some of the best scenery he's ever seen πŸŒ„πŸš›.

When he's not on the tools, you'll find Sammy spending time with his family or enjoying his favourite sports πŸ‰βš½.

A fun fact about Sammy? He's bilingual and speaks both English and Tongan.

Sammy is a valued member of the Bomax team, bringing a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first approach to every project he's involved in. Whether it's helping solve challenges on site or keeping morale high with the crew, he's someone we're proud to have as part of the team.

We're starting to think our clients are competing for the best view! 😍

This 286.88mΒ² Firth X-Pod foundation at 224 Logan Road, Pukekawa is another beauty. With plenty of angles and an epic outlook over the Waikato countryside, this one kept the team on their toes but was worth every bit of effort.

Safe to say we'd be pretty happy waking up to this view every morning! 🌿🏑

Awesome work by the crew getting this one completed. A huge thank you to Falmax Concrete Ltd for laying and Empire Concrete Pumps for another smooth pump. We love working alongside great people who help us bring these projects to life.

On Tuesday we poured 236.63mΒ² for what will be another fantastic home in a beautiful part of the Waikato. It's always a privilege to be involved at the very start of a build and see these projects take shape from the ground up.

Yesterday we poured this 236.01mΒ² foundation for Sentinel Homes at 210A Mangarino Road, Te KΕ«iti.

Some sites are memorable because of the project. Some are memorable because of the location. This one is both.

Perched amongst the rolling hills of the King Country, the outlook from this site is simply breathtaking. Once completed, this home will have one of the best views around, and we're proud to have been the team entrusted with laying the foundations.

Meet The Team - Chris Jager! πŸ‘‹

Chris is one of the great guys on our Bomax crew, bringing a positive attitude to every job. He enjoys the variety and challenges that each project brings, but what he enjoys most is the team he works alongside every day. No matter what's happening on site, Chris always seems to have a smile on his face, and it's one of the things we really appreciate about him.

When he's not at work, you'll usually find him spending time with his kids, watching sport, playing a bit of golf, or trying his luck out fishing. He's also a fan of boxing training, although he admits he's currently taking a well-earned break! πŸ˜‚

Fun fact: Chris was born in Christchurch and spent his childhood living all over New Zealand, moving through several towns before he turned 13.

We're lucky to have Chris as part of the Bomax team. His positive attitude, willingness to take on a challenge, love of the crew around him, and trademark smile make him a valued member of the team. πŸ’™
