EVICOM is delighted to announce that EVOLVE™ Rat Soft Bait has been successfully registered in New Zealand, marking a major milestone in bringing a more welfare friendly, science-led pest control solution to market. This achievement was made possible through the expertise and guidance of EpiVet’s Regulatory Team https://epivets.co.nz/, who navigated both EPA and ACVM approvals.
EVICOM is proud to be New Zealand’s exclusive distributor of EVOLVE™, an innovative, non-lethal rodent birth control soft bait that targets infestations at their source - reproduction. Rather than relying on toxic baits or conventional traps, EVOLVE reduces rodent fertility, delivering an effective, long-term, and humane solution without risk to people, pets, wildlife, or the environment. Developed by U.S. based SenesTech®, it is the first commercially available soft bait designed specifically to manage rodent populations by lowering fertility.
With registration now complete, EVOLVE™ will be available in New Zealand from February 2026.
Building on this success, EVICOM has also engaged EpiVet’s regulatory team to begin two further registrations:
EVOLVE™ in Australia, expanding access to this non-lethal rodent control innovation across the Tasman; and
OvoControl™ in New Zealand, an eco-friendly fertility control bait for pigeons, offering a sustainable, welfare-positive option for long-term bird population management.
