How we get our own home ready for summer!☀️⛱️

1. Fix those annoying lights - Got indoor or outdoor lights playing up? Get them sorted now, not halfway through your Christmas break!

2. Add outdoor power points - Christmas lights, a bar fridge or power for your gardening tools. You’ll be glad you’ve got them when you need them.

3. Aesthetic lighting 💡want your house to look the part? Pendant lighting in the kitchen, LED strips for that modern finish, or outdoor lighting to impress your guests. Small upgrades can make a big difference.

4. Get your heat pump summer-ready - Book in a service and clean before December. The last thing you want is a breakdown or unexpected leak when the heat hits!

5. Stock up for platter season - Add a few non-perishables to your weekly shop now, so you’re not buying everything at once when hosting season rolls around.

6. Start browsing outdoor furniture - Shop around early. Popular items can take weeks to arrive if they’re not in stock.

Another school holidays done and dusted! Congrats to the parents who made it through another round.

We had some big emotions dropping our boy off at school this morning. He's pretty keen to start working for the family business, or at least providing the content haha!

Apart from thinking Dad's a builder and Mum's an accountant, he was pretty bang on with the rest.

A fun take on Mum and Dad running their HVAC business, from our son's point of view.

One of the things we’re most proud of as a business is the people behind the scenes 👏

Outside of work, Jason has been spending his spare time helping restore and preserve the John Haywood Memorial Hut. A special part of the local backcountry that means a lot to many in the outdoor community.

Projects like this rely heavily on volunteers, donations, and people willing to give up weekends to keep these places standing for future generations.

Happy van, happy man 😄

A big upgrade to one of the work vans this week with new shelving from , installed to keep everything organised and efficient on site heading into winter.

Clean van, clear mind, clear plan on site which makes for smoother days and better workflow all round.

Story time 📖

Around four years ago, I was referred to a new customer to install a heat pump.

One of the best parts of my work is meeting people from all walks of life and being welcomed into their homes. After that install, I walked away thinking, “they’re the kind of people I'd love to stay connected with.”

Fast forward to today, those customers are now great friends of ours. In fact, while catching up with them recently, we came across an old photo from that very first install.

Sometimes a job is more than a job, it can be the start of a solid friendship!
