Small job. Big standards. That's just how we roll. 💪

This was a small anchoring job the crew completed in Tauranga for NZ Structures Ltd. Every project — big or small — gets the full Keir treatment. Proper planning, sharp ex*****on, quality finish.

Te Waihou is one of New Zealand’s most visited freshwater spots, and a place like this needs a careful approach.

Working alongside Raukawa and South Waikato District Council, we upgraded the full walkway from Leslie Road through to White’s Road and built a new viewing platform. Keeping the footprint light and respecting the environment every step of the way.

The track is open end to end. If you haven’t been, it’s worth the visit. 💧

The Waitonga Falls Track upgrade asked for exactly what our crew does best: problem solving in tough country. Working with on a busy alpine track meant rebuilding 300m of boardwalk through wetland, resetting tired bridge foundations, and tying a new staircase back into solid rock – all while keeping gear footprints light and the environment front of mind.

It was a great match for a team that’s used to steep ground, changeable weather, and getting quality structures built where access is anything but simple.

If you are heading up Ohakune Mountain Road, check out the upgraded track and see our work in place.

Strong projects start with strong people.

We spoke with Jed Keir about what it really takes to build and retain a capable team in construction, and why it matters so much to the way we deliver work at Keir Projects.

From training and leadership through to on-site culture, the focus is simple: invest in people, back their growth, and create an environment where teams can do their best work together.

Check out what Jed had to say about building and retaining a strong team 👉https://keirprojects.nz/project/building-and-retaining-a-strong-team-at-keir-projects

Because when the team is right, everything else follows.

Fence replacement completed at Kihikihi Cemetery for Waipa District Council. Good to play a small part in keeping this space tidy and well cared for.

Solid finish, built to last. Great mahi from the crew on this one.

Most of what we build just becomes part of the place.

People walk over it. Sit on it. Use it every day.
They’re not thinking about who built it.

If it’s solid, sits right in the landscape, and does what it’s meant to do, we’ve done our job.

That’s the goal every time.

Earlier this year some of the crew had the opportunity to work with Shane and the team from Stop Digging Waikato / Coromandel, installing screw piles for a food container setup.

Stop Digging’s ground screw technology is a pretty awesome alternative to traditional concrete foundations. Being able to install foundations quickly, with minimal ground disturbance and in a way that works across different ground conditions, makes it a smart solution for a lot of projects.

It was a good chance for the crew to get hands-on with a different approach and new technologies and see how it performs on site.

Darren and Eru were stoked to be involved. Big thanks to Shane and his crew for sharing their knowledge and running a tidy, professional install. Always good working alongside people who know their craft.
