One year ago today, this pōhutukawa was being prepared for its journey from the former Villa Maria vineyard to Te Ara Tukutuku

This 40-year-old pōhutukawa and several others were transplanted across the property to create instant privacy for the new owners.

A second chance can change everything. 🌴

In August 2022, we carefully rescued several mature Kermadec nīkau (Rhopalostylis baueri) from a demolition site in Onehunga.

These beautiful palms were destined to be felled, but instead they were given a new beginning on the coast in Leigh.

After being transported north, they spent time in a temporary on-site nursery while the landscape was completed. Once everything was ready, they were planted into their forever home overlooking the sea.

Seeing trees like these continue their story is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Some jobs only happen when everyone brings their A-game.

Three years ago, we joined a fantastic landscaping crew, alongside Crane & Cartage and NZ Crane Hire, to safely lift these kentia palms high above this stunning home and into place.

Grateful to work alongside such A-list tradespeople. 🌴👏

On this day in 2023, this established pōhutukawa was one of two directly transplanted for civil construction works.

Working beneath some very serious power lines beside SH20, just off Queenstown Road, made for a memorable day on site.

(Our apologies to anyone who lost their portaloo shade. 🌳🚽)

A year ago this week, this Villa Maria pōhutukawa was carefully loaded for the journey north to its spectacular new home at Tara Iti Golf Club.

Every successful transplant is built on good planning and a crew that knows exactly what they’re doing.
