Not all pots are the same — and the material you choose can directly affect how your plants grow.

Here’s a simple breakdown 👇

🧱 Cement pots

✔ Very strong and durable
✔ Great for large feature plants
✔ Stable in wind

❗ Downsides:
• Heavy
• Can retain heat and stress roots

💡 Best for: Outdoor statement plants & trees

🏺 Earthen / Terracotta pots

✔ Breathable (excellent drainage)
✔ Helps prevent root rot
✔ Natural look

❗ Downsides:
• Dries out quickly
• Needs more frequent watering

💡 Best for: Plants that don’t like wet roots (lavender, citrus, herbs)

🤍 Ceramic pots (glazed)

✔ Retain moisture better
