Our company is seeking physically fit and reliable swimming pool installers and cleaners (servicemen) to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. We specialise in providing top-notch swimming pool installations, cleaning, and associated equipment, and we need individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship to our clients.

Swimming Pool Installer Responsibilities:

Installing swimming pools and associated equipment
Digging and excavating pool areas
Mixing concrete and wheelbarrowing
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Communicating effectively with team members and clients

Swimming Pool Cleaner (Serviceman) Responsibilities:

Maintaining and cleaning swimming pools and associated equipment
Testing and adjusting water chemistry
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Communicating effectively with team members and clients

Requirements for both positions:

Valid driver's licence
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
Previous experience in swimming pool installation or cleaning preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays

One of the main problems with this pool was the structural components such as the verticals were FULLY concreted in which required heavy labour.

Other repairs we had to make:

“Providing Aucklands primary school children with a safe opportunity to learn how to swim!” 💧💧💧

Here we have a 13.7m x 4.6m rectangular concrete pool fitted with a Maui printed liner

There were a number of problems with this job:

- The concrete was damaged and leaking water
- Rails were fixed and needed to be carefully removed then customised to fit our liner
- Inlet returns and plumbing wasn’t accessible due to concrete structure

Steps we took to amend these issues and improve on the design:

- Plaster all the cracks in the concrete floor and wall.
- Plaster seal old inlet returns and drill new ones for plumbing
- Fit new hang liner track and apply wall protector
- Grind the existing handrails and install rubber gaskets to minimise the chance of leaks
