A birthday surprise from miles away. 🤍

My wife is currently in the South Island, and a parcel unexpectedly arrived for me.

When I went to pick it up, I genuinely had no idea what was inside. I thought it might be some chocolates or a little something from Dunedin, so I brought it home, had a shower, and opened it without thinking too much.

Turns out, it was something I never expected, a personalised registration plate for Tiles 2 Tile.

It may be just a plate to some, but to me, it represents something we’ve built through years of hard work, commitment and persistence.

What makes it even more meaningful is knowing that it came from the person who has supported me through every stage of the journey.

Thank you, my wife, for always believing in me and everything I’m working towards. Even from the other end of the country, you still managed to make this birthday one to remember. 🤍

Herringbone in progress 🔨✨

A little look at the work so far. The job isn’t finished yet,more tiling and finishing touches still to come.

For this one, we’re using RLA Unilite adhesive — great grab and hold, allowing us to tile from top to bottom while keeping the herringbone pattern exactly where we want it. 💪👌

Another splashback job done! 😎🔨

Looks like drinking coffee really does bring good things ☕️😂
Went in for coffee… somehow the work followed me back to his house! 🤣

✨ Another outdoor transformation completed!Tiles from Tilechoice 💯

We extended the existing tiled area further into the garden, turning unused grass space into a clean and practical outdoor living area.

There’s something satisfying about laying mosaic tiles. It isn’t the fastest part of the job, but watching hundreds of small pieces come together into one clean finish makes it worth every minute.

The waterproofing survived… so I rewarded it with some nice tiles. 😆

Last week: Tecnokolla waterproofing.
Today: Finished tiling with the Tecnokolla system.

Not bad for a week’s work! These walls are looking fancier than my living room. 🤣

🔥 Another waterproofing project completed using the full Tecnokolla system.

Every stage has been completed professionally and according to manufacturer specifications before tiling proceeds.

✅ Primer T applied to all waterproofing and tiling areas
✅ TECNO RL Bonding Breakers installed to all junctions
✅ Full waterproofing system completed
