11 years ago, this photo was taken in the Philippines — a young line mechanic holding his little girl beside a work truck that wasn't his.

Meet Louie, the legend behind LME Power. 👷‍♂️⚡

He started as a Line Mechanic in 2012, learning the trade the hard way — long hours, live lines, and the kind of skill you can only earn out in the field.

That craft didn't just build a career. It built a passport and a visa.

His expertise carried him all the way to New Zealand, where he kept climbing — literally and professionally. And today? He's no longer working beside someone else's truck. He's running his own company, LME Power, serving the civil and power industry across Auckland.

From holding his daughter in the Philippines… to holding the future of his own business in NZ.

Same hands. Same heart. A whole new chapter.

Friday shared afternoon tea with the team ☕️🍰

Nearly 4 years ago, it was just me and Louie — plus our two little sidekicks lol 😂 , running around while we tried to grow this business from the ground up. We started with big dreams, long days, uncertainty, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

Fast forward to today, and we feel incredibly grateful and blessed to now have two more amazing boys on the team helping us grow LME Power. Their expertise, knowledge, dedication, and willingness to back the vision mean so much to us. Building a business is never a one-person job, and having the right people beside you makes all the difference.

Sometimes we get so busy with the day-to-day work that we forget to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come. From a small family operation to a growing team — every challenge, every early morning, and every sacrifice has been worth it.

We are thankful for the people who trust us, support us, and continue to grow with us. Here’s to more shared afternoon teas, more laughs on site, more growth, and more milestones together. 🙌⚡️
