For hours, Social Media Manager sat staring at this video, trying to find the right words.
AI wasn't even an option... well, you already know why. 🥲
It wasn't because there was nothing to say. In fact, there was so much to say. The problem was that one phrase refused to leave my mind:
"A workman that needeth not to be ashamed."
I kept asking myself, *What does that have to do with the construction happening here I tried to think of something else. I left it alone and came back to it. Still, that same phrase kept echoing.
Then I watched the video again.
This time, I wasn't looking at the building. I was looking at the men.
The way they moved with purpose. The quiet satisfaction in their work. There was no sign of resentment. No expression that said, "This job is beneath me."No bitterness that whispered, "I deserve better."
Just men showing up and giving their best to the task before them.
It reminded me that excellence is often built long before recognition ever comes. The people who leave lasting legacies are usually the ones who choose to do ordinary work with extraordinary commitment.
So, dear workman, whatever your hands find to do, do it with joy. Do it with integrity. Do it as though it belongs to you. Give it your very best, even when no one is watching.
One day, your reward will meet your diligence. 🏆
And yes, this is District 9.
This project is being built by people who take pride in what they do. You will get nothing but the best put of it. We are working!
