Today, we were fixing the borehole in Undi, T/A Kalumbu, following a request made to us some months ago by the surrounding villages.

After inspecting the borehole, we found that we needed to change the pipes, SS rods, bush bearings, centraliser, and many other parts. We thank God that we managed to buy all the needed materials.

That borehole was drilled in 2003. It has been serving over 500 people. Our team is on site carrying out handpump maintenance and repairs. Watch the video below to see part of the work.

This is what Clean Water for All means. Not just new boreholes—but returning to keep every source flowing.

From Materials Delivery to Apron Maintenance Completion. 🛠️

These images capture the full journey of our recent borehole maintenance at Kazyolo Village—materials arriving, the old apron being demolished, fresh civil works underway, and the finished apron now curing.

This borehole was handed over to the community on 3rd October 2019. Six years of uninterrupted service. Routine maintenance like this is how that record stands.

Once the concrete has set, we will return to reinstall the handpump and restore full service.

The apron maintenance at our first borehole is now complete. 🛠️

After demolishing the old structure and laying a new reinforced apron, our team has finished the first phase of maintenance at Kazyolo Village. The concrete will now be left to cure, after which we will return to reinstall the handpump and restore full service.

This borehole has been in continuous use since October 2019. Routine maintenance like this is how we keep it that way—for years to come.

This borehole was handed over to Kazyolo Village on 3rd October 2019. Six years of uninterrupted service. Now we are back for routine maintenance, keeping our promise: we drill, we install, we return.

After delivering sand and cement earlier this week, today we were out collecting quarry stones — the next material needed to complete the borehole apron repairs at Kazyolo Village.

This is the first borehole we ever drilled, handed over to the community on 3rd October 2019. For six years, it has served without interruption. Now, we are here to make sure it stays that way.

Maintenance is not an afterthought for us. It's part of the promise. We drill. We install. We return.
