Frank Gehry has left our world, but the rhythm of his architecture continues to ripple across continents. His buildings were never static structures; they were movements, waves of steel, folds of light, and silhouettes that challenged the sky itself.
He taught us that architecture is not only shelter but sculpture, not only form but feeling. From Bilbaoโs gleaming titanium petals to the lyrical curves of Los Angelesโ Disney Hall, Gehry dared to turn imagination into structure and structure into art.
Today, as we mourn his passing, we celebrate the creative revolution he sparked, a reminder that the world becomes extraordinary when we are brave enough to reinvent it. His legacy endures in every student who sketches boldly, every architect who dreams freely, and every person who stands in awe of the spaces he created.
Thank you, Frank Gehry, for showing us that buildings, too, can breathe.
