It's only a short time now until we meet (or reunite) in North Macedonia for SHARE Skopje 2024 - International Architecture Forum!
Now in its 7th edition, this eagerly awaited event will take place on November 19th at the Skopje Marriott Hotel. It will cover topics like “Good Living Architecture: Enhancing Living and Working Spaces” and “Façades Design & Engineering.”
Skopje will welcome renowned studios and prominent architects as with every forum organized by SHARE Architects and local partners.
Here are the case study presentations by the invited:
Irina Petrovska, Head of Parallel studio, Macedonia will discuss “Workspace Well-being” with case studies on Salience Consulting Offices, Nastel Cowork Spaces, and Kultura Offices.
Radomir Serafimov, Director at Atelier Serafimov Architects, Bulgaria, will present “UPTOWN SQUARE: A New Generation Urban Environment.” Alexandrin Buraga, Founder of + Partners from the Republic of Moldova, will showcase two case studies: Mirror Houses and Toro Center: Multifunctional Hybrid Complex.
Takehiko Iseki, Associate at Zaha Hadid Architects, UK, will explore “Adaptive Urbanism—Generative Design and AI Technologies in Architecture” with projects like Hangzhou Sports Centre (China), Unicorn Island (Hangzhou, China), and Beyabu (Honduras).
Ilir Llonçari, Founder of Studio ARTEC, Kosovo, will present “Accuracy in Design…” with a case study on Dukë Bar - Hotel Dukagjini, while John Kanakas, Founder of Direction Architects, Greece, will speak on “Towards A New Residential Paradigm” with a presentation on House Symbiosis.
Etain Fitzpatrick, Director at John Robertson Architects Ltd, UK, will share “The Northcliffe Story – Maximum Impact, Minimum Intervention.”
The final part of the day will feature a debate on “Public Spaces Architecture,” moderated by Martin Panovski, Chairman of SHARE Skopje Forum, and Founder & Chief Architect at RADiUs architects, Skopje
At the debate, Alexandra Virlan, Associate at UNStudio, Netherlands, will feature case studies like Southbank Melbourne, Van B Munich, ECHO TU Delft, and EZ Parque da Cidades. She will be follow by a speech of Marta Ilievska, Architect & Owner of Formika Plus, North Macedonia.
