Thank you.

On Saturday night the Ember Bridge Gala raised close to $300,000!!! That money will fund three more suspension bridges on the Cricamola River in Panama.

Two years ago about 150 people gathered in a room and said yes to a first bridge. Since then, that bridge and a second one in Tibra have been built with our hands and the hands of the Ngäbe community. This weekend you said yes to Bridges Three, Four, and Five.

Thank you to everyone who came, gave, bid, sponsored a child, or shared the night with us. Thank you to the volunteers who set up, served, and stayed to tear it all down. Thank you to the friends and family who traveled from out of town, to the donors who have walked with us from the beginning, and to those who met Ember Foundations for the first time on Saturday. Thank you to the vendors and partners who helped us put on a night like this.

And thank you to the families of the Cricamola, who remind us why any of this matters.

Ember Foundations is about more than building bridges. Every crossing is built and maintained by trained local crews led by our superintendent Samuel, so the river's own people are the ones keeping their families safe. Your gifts fund that too.

Prayers needed for good weather as our team in Panama has been hard at work staging all the concrete, steel cables and CMU blocks that all of YOU helped buy for Ember Bridge 3, just awaiting Joint Task Force Bravo’s choppers to come in and take everything to the jungle!

Thank you to everyone that helped by answering our call for support, together we will fill that chopper!

🚁 IT’S HAPPENING. U.S. Army helicopters from Joint Task Force Bravo have given final approval to airlift materials for Bridge EB003 in Panama’s Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca — July 7–9!

Here’s what’s going on that bird:
✅ 600 bags of cement
✅ All 5 stainless steel suspension cables

This is extraordinary. Military aviation assets, donated in-kind, flying bridge materials into a remote indigenous community that has lost community members to dangerous river crossings. No overhead. No waste. Just mission.

But here’s where YOU come in. 👇

We’re looking for sponsors to claim what goes on that helicopter:

🪨 $10 — Sponsor one bag of cement
🪨 $100 — Sponsor 10 bags of cement
🪨 $500 — Sponsor 50 bags (“Cement Captain”)
🪨 $2,000 — Sponsor a full pallet (200 bags)

🔩 $2,000 — Sponsor all 5 cables (the backbone of the bridge!)
