Extend warm congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia; His Excellency Jeremiah Kpan Koung, Vice President of the Republic of Liberia; His Excellency Richard Nagba Koung, Speaker of the House of Representatives; Her Excellency Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, President Pro Tempore and Members of the Liberian Senate; His Honor Yarmie Quiqui Gbeisay, Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court of Liberia; the Dean and Members of the Cabinet; and Members of the Diplomatic Corps.

$300,000 BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY ON RALLY ROAD; KSN INDUSTRIES RACES TO COMPLETE BEFORE PEAK RAINS

Construction of two critical bridges on Rally Road, the Sannie Town Bridge and Gbor Bridge in District 3, Grand Bassa County are progressing steadily, with significant work already completed on the abutments and central piers.

The project, undertaken by KSN Industries, represents a total investment of 300,000 United States Dollars and will connect communities across Districts 2 and 4, bringing long‑awaited relief to residents.

According to Kent Napeh, Chief Executive Officer of KSN Industries, teams are working with urgency to finish the works before the peak of the rainy season sets in.

“We will complete the project within 12 months, but we will finish sooner if the weather cooperates,” Napeh stated.

He confirmed that his company secured the contract through a competitive bidding process, beating out other firms to undertake the revamp.

The structures are being built to robust standards: the Sannie Town Bridge stretches 30 meters long, 4.5 meters wide, and stands 5.5 meters high, while the Gbor Bridge measures 16 meters in length, 4.5 meters wide, and 3.5 meters high.

Recently, County Leadership visited the site, expressed satisfaction with the progress. “The work is massive, and the challenges are real, but the results are worth it,” they said.

In a strong show of commitment to local development, the project is also providing direct economic benefits to the area, employing between 30 and 50 local residents throughout the construction period.

As the structures take shape, the investment is already bringing renewed hope that reliable, year‑round connectivity will soon be restored across these important communities.

The construction of the two bridges on Rally Road, namely Sannie Town Bridge and Gbor Bridge, is currently underway. Considerable progress has been achieved in the development of the abutments and central piers. Efforts are being accelerated to ensure the completion of the project prior to the peak of the rainy season.
