2.ඔබ ඇණවුම් කළ පසු, වංචාකරු ඔබේ ප්රදේශයේ ඇති සැබෑ Hardware එකකට කතා කර ඔබේ ලිපිනයට භාණ්ඩ Delivery කරනවා.
3. භාණ්ඩ ඔබගේ නිවසට/සයිට් එකට ආ පසු, වංචාකරු විසින් ඔබට කතා කර ඔහුගේ බැංකු ගිණුමට Online Transfer මඟින් මුදල් ලබාගන්නවා.
4. භාණ්ඩ රැගෙන ආ රියදුරු මුදල් ඉල්ලන විටයි වැටහෙන්නේ ඔබ මුදල් දමා ඇත්තේ කිසිදු සම්බන්ධයක් නැති වංචාකරුවෙකුට බව! අන්තිමේදී භාණ්ඩත් නෑ, ලක්ෂ ගණනක මුදලුත් නෑ!

மோசடி நடைபெறும் விதம்👇
1. மோசடிக்காரர், வழக்கமான சந்தை விலையைவிட குறைந்த விலையில் அஸ்பெஸ்டாஸ், சீமெந்து அல்லது ஏனைய கட்டுமானப் பொருட்களை விற்பனை செய்வதாக விளம்பரம் வெளியிடுகிறார்.
2. நீங்கள் பொருட்களை ஆர்டர் செய்த பின்னர், மோசடிக்காரர் உங்கள் பகுதியில் உள்ள உண்மையான Hardware கடையொன்றைத் தொடர்புகொண்டு, உங்கள் முகவரிக்கு பொருட்களை விநியோகிக்க ஏற்பாடு செய்கிறார்.
3. பொருட்கள் உங்கள் வீடு அல்லது கட்டுமானத் தளத்திற்கு வந்தவுடன், மோசடிக்காரர் உங்களைத் தொடர்புகொண்டு, தனது வங்கிக் கணக்கிற்கு Online Transfer மூலம் பணத்தை அனுப்புமாறு கோருகிறார்.
4. பொருட்களைக் கொண்டு வந்த சாரதி பணம் கேட்கும்போதுதான், நீங்கள் பணத்தை பொருட்களுடன் எந்தத் தொடர்பும் இல்லாத மோசடிக்காரரின் கணக்கிற்கு அனுப்பியிருப்பது தெரியவரும்!
இறுதியில் பொருட்களும் இல்லை, இலட்சக்கணக்கான பணமும் இல்லை!
இதிலிருந்து தப்பிப்பது எப்படி?
1. லொறியில் பொருட்கள் வந்துவிட்டன என்பதற்காக அவசரப்பட்டு யாருடைய வங்கிக் கணக்கிற்கும் Online மூலம் பணம் அனுப்பாதீர்கள்.
2. பொருட்களைக் கொண்டு வந்த சாரதி அல்லது Hardware கடையின் உரிமையாளருடன் நேரடியாகப் பேசி, கொள்வனவு மற்றும் பணம் செலுத்த வேண்டிய விபரங்களை உறுதிப்படுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
3. பணம் செலுத்த வேண்டுமாயின், குறித்த Hardware கடையின் பெயரில் உள்ள வங்கிக் கணக்கிற்கு மட்டுமே பணத்தை அனுப்புங்கள் அல்லது Cash on Delivery (பொருட்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது பணம் செலுத்துதல்) முறையைப் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.

Beware of This New Scam When Purchasing Goods Through Online Advertisements
A new scam involving the sale of construction materials through online advertisements on platforms such as ikman and Facebook Marketplace has been reported. Those purchasing asbestos sheets, cement and other construction materials should remain vigilant.
How the Scam Works 👇
The fraudster posts an advertisement offering asbestos sheets, cement or other construction materials at prices significantly lower than the prevailing market rates.
Once a customer places an order, the fraudster contacts a genuine hardware store in the customer's area and arranges for the goods to be delivered to the customer's address or construction site.
After the goods are delivered, the fraudster contacts the customer and instructs them to make an online bank transfer to an account provided by the fraudster.
The customer only realizes that they have transferred the money to a fraudster with no connection to the hardware store when the actual supplier or delivery driver requests payment. This can result in the customer losing a substantial amount of money.
How Can You Protect Yourself? 🤔
Do not panic or transfer money online simply because construction materials have arrived at your home or construction site.
Contact the hardware store or supplier directly and verify the order, price and payment details with the owner or the delivery driver who brought the goods.
If making a payment, transfer the money only to the official bank account registered in the name of the relevant hardware store or supplier. Alternatively, use Cash on Delivery (COD) where available.
⚠️ Stay alert. Verify before you pay. A low price can sometimes come with a very high cost.
