Concrete cast කළාට පස්සේ cement + water hydration reaction එක continue වෙනවා. මේ process එකෙන් concrete එකේ strength & durability develop වෙනවා. 💪

ඒ නිසා Proper Curing කිරීමෙන් 👇

🔧 Big Columns වල Thread Bars / Tie Bars ඇයි වැදගත්?

When casting a large RCC column, fresh concrete pressure together with proper vibration creates considerable lateral pressure on the formwork.

ඒ නිසා Thread Bars / Formwork Tie Bars use කරලා shuttering එක properly secure කිරීම ඉතා වැදගත්. 👷‍♂️

⚠️ If the formwork is not properly secured:

❌ Shuttering එක bulge / move වෙන්න පුළුවන්
❌ Concrete leakage වෙන්න පුළුවන්
❌ Column dimensions වෙනස් වෙන්න පුළුවන්
❌ Surface defects / deformed column ඇති වෙන්න පුළුවන්
❌ In severe cases, formwork failure වෙන්නත් පුළුවන්
