Today, OMWASCO Management held a consultative meeting with resident leaders from Maironi and Githagara to discuss the planned relocation of water pipelines that will facilitate the construction of the Maironi–Githagara Road.

The meeting brought together the Othaya Member of Parliament Hon. Wambugu Wainaina, the CEO Tana Water Works Development Agency, OMWASCO Management, KeRRA and local leaders from the affected areas.

As OMWASCO, we fully support infrastructure development while remaining committed to ensuring a reliable water supply. We shall work closely with all stakeholders to minimize supply disruptions during the pipeline relocation works and keep our customers informed throughout the project.

Together, we build better roads while safeguarding essential water services.

Water Supply Restoration Update ( Thangathi–Kiuu )

Good news!

We have successfully completed the flushing of service lines at Thangathi–Kiuu, marking the final stage of the restoration works.

Our technical team is now directing water to the BPT Tank as we prepare for full restoration of the supply.

Normal water flow at your tapping point is expected from tomorrow.

We are pleased to inform you that all the required materials and equipment are now on site, and repair works are underway. Kindly note that all OMWASCO payments should ONLY be made through PayBill Number 968200, using the correct customer account number as the account/reference number.
If you receive any suspicious call or message requesting payment through a different platform, please disregard it and report the matter to OMWASCO through the official customer care channels or call Toll free number 0800724072.
OMWASCO does not authorize staff to request customers to make payments to personal numbers or unauthorized platforms.
Please share this alert widely to protect other customers from fraud.

The OMWASCO PLC team representing the company at the 2026 WASPA Water Culture & Games Festival has today been officially flagged off by the Managing Director, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗶, ahead of the games scheduled to take place in 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

While addressing the team, the MD encouraged the participants to uphold teamwork, discipline, integrity and sportsmanship as they proudly represent OMWASCO PLC on and off the field.

He wished the team success in all the sporting disciplines and urged them to be worthy ambassadors of the company throughout the festival.
