🌍 Digital 3D Architectural Design Intern

Type: Internship (3–6 months, renewable based on performance)

🏢 About Planhub Africa

Planhub Africa is a growing digital marketplace for ready-made house plans across Africa. We combine architectural design, 3D visualization, and digital marketing to help clients easily visualize, purchase, and build modern home designs online.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Digital 3D Architectural Design Intern to join our team and help us expand our 3D design and digital content capabilities.

🎯 Role Overview

The selected intern will design residential house models primarily using Home Designer (Chief Architect) as the first priority software. Other 3D design tools may also be used where necessary.

You will also create virtual tours, produce video walkthroughs for our YouTube channel, and support the visual management of our online marketplace.

🛠 Key Responsibilities
🏗 3D Architectural Design

Design and model residential house plans using Home Designer (required).

Produce high-quality 3D interior and exterior renders.

Convert 2D architectural drawings into realistic 3D models.

Improve and enhance existing designs in the Planhub Africa marketplace.

🎥 Virtual Tours & YouTube Content

Create realistic 3D walkthrough animations and virtual tours.

Edit and prepare videos suitable for YouTube publishing.

Upload and optimize YouTube content (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails).

Maintain consistent visual branding across content.

🌐 Marketplace Website Support

Upload and manage house designs on the Planhub Africa website.

Improve product presentation (images, layout, descriptions).

Support basic design and layout improvements on the marketplace platform.

Ensure high-quality visual standards across listings.

🎓 Requirements
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Home Designer / Chief Architect (mandatory).

Experience with additional 3D tools (SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Blender, Twinmotion, etc.) is a plus.

Ability to produce realistic lighting and rendering.

Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

Good understanding of residential architectural design principles.

Personal Attributes

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Interest in modern African residential architecture.

Self-motivated and able to work remotely.

Basic understanding of website content management (WordPress or similar is an advantage).
