If you’re not yet financially stable but dream of building your own home, avoid asking for the total construction cost as your first step.

Start by getting a simple house design, a proper Bill of Quantities (BQ), and a clear construction plan. Then, depending on your budget, you can purchase materials gradually and build in manageable phases.

It may take time, but with proper planning, patience, and consistency, you can eventually turn that dream into reality. 💪🏽

The truth is, building a decent standard three-bedroom house in Kenya today can easily cost KSh 2 million or more, depending on the design, finishes, location, and material prices. Not everyone can raise that amount at once.
