雨が少しだけ止んだ夕方
静かに窓を開いたとき
部屋の空気がゆるやかに動く
子供たちが大人になったときに思い出すのは
こういうなにげない日常のひとコマなんだと思う
空間に流れる空気やにおい
季節ごとの光の向き
マテニとつくる家が
そんな確かな記憶を静かに育てていく場所になれたら
1番うれしい

An evening when the rain finally takes a breath.
Opening the window gently,
the air in the space begins to shift.
When children grow up, what they look back on
are these simple, fleeting moments of everyday life.
The ambient air, the subtle scents,
the seasonal rhythms of light.
If a home built together with Mateni
can be a place that quietly nurtures those vivid memories,
that is our greatest joy.

大切にされてきた家具が、新しい空間に自然と馴染む佇まい

中庭のアカシア越しに見上げる青空

空間づくりの中で大切にしている光と影を、同じ眼差しで日常の中に受け取ってくださっていることが、ただうれしい

家づくりでは、時に予期せぬことに直面することもあります

それでも、施主と一緒に悩み、考え、同じ方向を向きながら積み重ねていく時間そのものが、空間の空気感になっていくのだと感じます

つくりたいのは、ただ美しいだけの箱ではなく、住む人の記憶や家具を静かに受け止めていく住まい

そして改めて、人と人との関係性から生まれる住まいが、やっぱり好きだなぁと思う

Furniture cherished over the years naturally settling into the new space.

The blue sky seen through the acacia trees in the courtyard.

The light and shadow that we hold dear in our design—
Knowing they are embracing them with the same eyes in their daily life simply brings me joy.

In homebuilding, we sometimes face unexpected challenges.

Yet, the time spent with the client—worrying together, thinking together, and moving forward in the same direction—is exactly what infuses the space with its unique atmosphere.

What we want to create is not just a beautiful box,
but a home that quietly embraces the residents' memories and their furniture.

And once again, I realize that I truly love homes born from the genuine connection between people.

視線の先に、強い光を感じます
季節や時間と共にゆっくりと移ろうその光は

空間をとおして、時間や季節、空気感を体感すること

人間としての豊かな時間です
住まう人のパーソナルな空気感や、日々の佇まい
その目に見えない魅力を丁寧にすくい上げ
建築へと仕立てていくのが、マテニの住まいづくりです

When stepping into this serene space, free from direct sunlight,a powerful light captures the eye just ahead.
Moving slowly with the seasons and the hours,
the changing light gently reminds us of the passing of time.
To feel the time, the seasons, and the atmosphere through space—
It is a profound moment as a human being,
sensing that which cannot be seen.
The personal aura of those who dwell here, and their everyday presence.
To carefully gather those invisible charms
and weave them into architecture—

進み続ける都市のルーティンから、少しだけ視線を外してみた時、本当に求めているものは何か

最新のテクノロジーでも、完璧に効率化されたシステムでもなく、五感が心地よくひらき、身体からふっと力が抜けていく感覚

都市の刺激やモダンな空気感を愉しみながら
静かにこもる場所のなかで、自然の気配を最も美しいかたちで受け取る

家をつくることの先にある、人が根源的に戻りたい場所
そんな自然との関わり方を
忍ばせています

影は複雑に光と絡み合い
絶え間なく揺れ、消えては現れる

そこに吹く風の強弱も、季節の匂いも
暮らしのそばでただ揺らぎ続けています

サロンのテラスは、訪れる時間によって
描き出される幾何学も少しずつ変化していきます

2025年、ありがとうございました。

家づくりは、要望をまとめて形にするだけの仕事じゃなく、
暮らしのこれからを、少し先まで一緒に想像することだと思っています。
その時間そのものが、大切だと感じています。

誰に求められたわけでもないことを始め、
それでも出会ってくださった施主の方や、
支えてくれるチームのおかげで、
心が動かされる場面が今年もいくつもありました。

また来年も丁寧に、
対話を重ねていきたいと思います。
