慶昌院
白雲堂、禅堂と納骨堂の改装工事を撮影していただきました。計画から８年が経ちました。
工事はコロナも発生して、困難な時期がありました。ようやく撮影していただくことができました。
建築を学ばれた住職のアイデアのとおり、白雲堂と墓地、伽藍全体が有機的につながりました。
避雷針は、京都のギャラリーで個展をしてくださった友人の彫刻家・藤井健ニさんの作品。最終的に宇宙の力を受ける宇宙人のような彫刻になりました。写真の仕上がりが楽しみです。
Keisho-in
We photographed the Hakundo Hall, the Zen Hall, and the columbarium. Eight years have passed since this project was first conceived.
Although construction faced difficulties at times due to the spread of COVID-19, we were finally able to take these photographs.
Just as envisioned by the temple’s head priest, who studied architecture, the Dharma Hall, the cemetery, and the entire temple complex are organically interconnected.
The lightning rod is a work by Kenji Fujii, a sculptor and friend of mine who holds solo exhibitions at galleries in Kyoto. Ultimately, this sculpture took the form of an alien receiving energy from the cosmos. I look forward to seeing the finished photographs.
