We provide air bearings that can easily move, rotate, and position heavy objects on a surface plate via an air film.
Compressor air is supplied to the main body of the air bearing for transporting large objects, creating an air film between it and the base surface to levitate heavy workpieces. Heavy workpieces can be moved and rotated smoothly with light force. Ideal for positioning heavy workpieces and precision measuring machines. It can also be used on surface plates, machine tool tables, etc. Large and heavy workpieces can be handled by using multiple air bearings for transporting heavy objects.
A function that allows you to easily move, rotate, and position heavy objects on a surface plate via an air film.
Specifically, we move metal presses and injection molds, move jigs and workpieces for radial drilling machines, move workpiece jigs and tools for large machine tools, position equipment during inspection and measurement, and move heavy workpieces. Can be used for moving/turning, moving/turning heavy workpieces during assembly and painting, and turntables.
