The Power of Painting!

This was an extreme interior makeover and a big project for our team that extended for a month. We sanded every wall and ceiling until smooth then applied 2 coats of paint for a high quality finish.

When it comes to plastering a concrete wall and ceilings here are some pro tips we recommend:

1. Always seal your walls with primer sealer or any alternative sealant. This creates a moisture barrier between the wall and the plaster to prevent cracking, mold and frequent future repairs.

2. When applying the plaster ensure you tape your corners well and apply proper coats of plaster to prevent the tape from being exposed during sanding.

3. Tape over large holes or repairs in drywall to prevent cracking after the plaster dries.

4 Always use a light when sanding the wall along with your hands to ensure any plaster lines, bubbles and groves are removed before painting.

5. Atleast two coats of paint is mandatory for the best finish and dont forget to sand the wall between each coat of paint.
