قد ترى مخطط منظومة إطفاء طبيعية لكن المهندس يرى عشرات القرارات: مسار الشبكة، قطر كل أنبوب، نقاط التغطية، حسابات الضغط، توزيع المياه وارتباط المنظومة بطبيعة المبنى.
كل خط على المخطط يمثل قرارًا وفي أنظمة الحماية من الحريق، القرار البسيط على الورق قد يؤثر على منظومة كاملة على أرض الواقع.
التنفيذ الجيد لا يبدأ بالموقع، يبدأ بقرار هندسي صحيح.

You may see a standard fire protection system drawing, but an engineer sees dozens of decisions: the network routing, the diameter of each pipe, coverage points, pressure calculations, water distribution, and how the system relates to the nature of the building.

قد يبدو الفوم مجرد مادة تُستخدم لإطفاء الحريق لكن اختياره يبدأ قبل ذلك بكثير
ما نوع المادة الموجودة بالموقع؟ ما طبيعة الخطر؟ كيف يمكن أن ينتشر الحريق؟وأي طريقة تطبيق تناسب هذه الحالة؟
لأن نظام الفوم ليس حلًا يُختار لمجرد وجود حريق بل هو جزء من قرار هندسي يعتمد على فهم نوع الخطر أولًا.
في الحماية من الحريق، الحل الصحيح لا يبدأ من المنتج يبدأ من السؤال الصحيح.

Foam may seem like just another material used to extinguish fires, but choosing the right foam starts much earlier.
