Suspended between earth and sky, rises the unknown. Sometimes the unfinished speaks more. The central staircase at the entrance to the dining hall reads less as a circulation element and more as a ceremonial architectural gesture.
Its position at the centre gives it a strong sense of arrival and procession. Rather than simply taking one from one level to another, the staircase becomes the threshold through which the dining hall is revealed. The geometry draws the eye inward and upward, creating a moment of pause before entering the space beyond.
