Trane Split AC Gas Checking After Service
Complete the service (clean indoor and outdoor units, filters, and condenser coil).
Restore power and run the AC in Cool Mode.
Set the temperature to 16–18°C and let it run for 15–20 minutes.
Connect the manifold gauge to the service port.
Measure:
Suction pressure
Discharge pressure (if required)
Check:
Suction line should feel cold.
Liquid line should feel warm.
Measure the air temperature:
Return air temperature
Supply air temperature
A temperature difference of about 8–12°C is common for many systems under normal conditions.
Check compressor current with a clamp meter and compare it with the nameplate rating.
Look for signs of low refrigerant:
Low suction pressure
Frost on the evaporator or suction line
Poor cooling
If refrigerant is low:
Find and repair any leak first.
Evacuate the system if it has been opened.
Recharge with the correct refrigerant (such as R410A, R32, or another type specified on the unit nameplate) using the manufacturer's recommended charge.

🔧 Carrier Ductable AC Motor Refixing | Full Maintenance Guide 🔧

Carrier Ductable AC indoor blower motor installation and refixing should always be done carefully to ensure smooth operation and proper airflow.

✅ Switch OFF the power supply before starting.
✅ Remove and inspect the blower motor and wheel.

Window AC Service – Full Process
Turn OFF the power supply.
Remove the front panel and air filter.
Clean the air filter with water and let it dry.
Clean the evaporator coil using a coil cleaner or water.
Clean the blower wheel thoroughly.
Clean the condenser coil from the outdoor side.
Wash the drain tray and ensure the drain hole is not blocked.
Check the fan motor and fan blade condition.
Tighten all electrical connections.
Check the capacitor, thermostat, and wiring.
Measure voltage and running current (ampere).
Inspect for refrigerant (gas) leaks if cooling is low.
Reassemble the unit and restore power.
Test cooling performance and check the outlet air temperature.
