A vibrant piece of Tamil Nadu's folk tradition. Painted this in watercolour

*What is it?*
It's a traditional *folk dance from Tamil Nadu, India*. Dancers wear a dummy horse costume made of wood, cloth, and paper. Only their legs are visible from below, so it looks like a person is riding a horse.

They dance energetically to folk music with drums, bells, and sticks. It's mostly performed during *temple festivals, village fairs, and celebrations* in Madurai, Tirunelveli, and other southern districts.
