The project began with a simple challenge: how do you create the feeling of a garden inside an apartment? Instead of treating plants as decoration, Studio126 made the entrance foyer the foundation of the entire design. A mint green entrance door, an earthy palette of brick, kota stone and wood, and carefully selected low-light planting establish the character of the home from the moment you arrive. The result isn’t an apartment filled with greenery, it’s an apartment planned around it.
That same thinking shaped the rest of the renovation. A more porous layout allows daylight to travel deeper into the interiors, while a hybrid kitchen balances the practical demands of Indian cooking with an open social space for everyday living. The balconies become planted outdoor rooms rather than leftover edges, extending the home beyond its walls and giving the apartment a stronger connection to nature without increasing its footprint.
