This one feels especially personal.
The Mortar House is our own studio — the place where we work through ideas, disagree, experiment, make mistakes, begin again, and slowly build the practice we want Logic to become.
So to see it shortlisted at the 2026 INDE.Awards,
among practices we have admired and respected for years, feels a little surreal.
We’ve long admired Indesign Magazine — its publications and the editorial values it stands for — which makes this recognition especially meaningful to us.
We are humbled, delighted and very grateful — to the jury, to everyone who helped bring this place to life, and to the larger fraternity that continues to inspire us and push the discipline forward.
And a special thank you to suryan suryan saurabh for seeing the space the way you did, and for capturing it so thoughtfully.
We’re looking forward to seeing the winners announced at the Gala in Melbourne later this month.
