One cleaning mistake changed the way we hand over every home.

In the master bedroom, the dresser top was accidentally stained with a harsh cleaning chemical, and it reminded us that not every surface can be cleaned the same way.

Different finishes need different care. What works on tiles may damage veneer. What works on stone may stain laminate. And a beautiful home needs the right upkeep to stay beautiful over time.

Since then, we have added detailed care and maintenance instructions to every handover document, so our clients know exactly how to maintain each surface after move-in.

Because good design is not just about how a home looks on Day 1.

But this Jalpa bedroom proves that a single colour palette can feel rich, warm and luxurious when it is layered the right way.

Here, brown is not just one shade, it moves through wood, fabric, wall finishes, soft furnishings and textures, creating depth without making the room feel heavy.

For Preethi, this room had to do more than host guests. On most days, it works as her creative studio, a space where she paints, rehearses and stores her art supplies.

And when her parents visit, the Murphy bed opens up and the same room transforms into a warm, comfortable guest bedroom.

The idea was simple: keep the space open, flexible and multifunctional without making it feel like a compromise.
