🏗️ The Importance of Proper Reinforcement Placement Before Concrete Pouring.
Before pouring concrete, always ensure:
✔️ Reinforcement matches the approved structural drawings.
✔️ Proper concrete cover is maintained using cover blocks.
✔️ Bars are securely tied and won't shift during pouring.
✔️ Lap lengths and anchorage are as per design.
✔️ Reinforcement is clean and free from excessive rust, oil, or debris.

Concrete is strong in compression, but steel reinforcement provides the tensile strength that keeps a structure safe and durable.

A few extra minutes of inspection before casting can prevent years of structural problems.

Remember: Once the concrete is poured, reinforcement can no longer be corrected.
