The first layout is rarely the final answer.

We explore how the same space can work differently, from movement and circulation to functionality and every square foot.

Because space planning isn't about fitting everything in. It's about making everything belong.

At The Raw Project, we question, explore, test and refine until the design works not just on paper, but in real life.

Because good architecture and interior design isn't just about how a space looks.

It's about how effortlessly it works.

You see the finished project. We see everything it took to get the shot.

From styling the space and fixing the smallest details to finding the right frame, an architectural photoshoot is another part of bringing a project to life.

A little behind the scenes from our Green View project in Ahmedabad, before we reveal the finished architecture and interior design.

The final reveal is coming. 👀

At first glance, this twin bungalow feels like a mirrored layout. Look closer, and you'll find it was never designed that way.

Instead of duplicating a floor plan, each residence was individually planned around its users while preserving one cohesive architectural language. Every shift in spatial planning, functional zoning, circulation, openings and room relationships was intentional.

Natural light, cross ventilation, privacy and the connection between the built form and the surrounding landscape were considered from the very first line on the drawing board.

For us, residential architecture isn't about repeating a successful plan. It's about designing homes that respond to the people who live in them.

Because great architectural design doesn't begin with walls.

It begins with understanding how people live.

Some lessons begin in a classroom. Some begin on a construction site. The best ones stay with you for life.

Long before The Raw Project existed, there were two young architects, Nidhi and Bhavik, learning from two extraordinary minds in Indian architecture.

Nidhi found a mentor in Ar. B.V. Doshi. Bhavik found his in Ar. Yatin Pandya.

Different teachers. Different journeys. One shared belief.

That architecture is never just about buildings. It's about people, context, curiosity and the courage to keep questioning.

Today, years later, those lessons still find their way into every conversation, every drawing, every site visit and every project we undertake at The Raw Project.

On this Guru Purnima, we bow with gratitude to Ar. B.V. Doshi sir and Ar. Yatin Pandya sir, and to every teacher who shapes not just architects, but the way they see the world.

Happy Guru Purnima. 🤍

If a teacher changed the course of your life, tell us about them in the comments. We'd love to hear your story.

Here's a shorter, stronger version that is still SEO-friendly and encourages follows:

We had to stop thinking like architects.

Because great architecture doesn't begin with drawings.

It begins with understanding life.

This horse stable wasn't designed around walls. It was designed around movement, comfort, daylight, ventilation and wellbeing.

That's how we approach every architectural design at The Raw Project.

If you believe thoughtful architecture should solve problems before creating aesthetics, you're in the right place.

Save this for inspiration.

Follow The Raw Project for architecture that begins with empathy.

"But... you're not based here?"

And every time, our answer is the same.

Great architecture isn't limited by geography. It's built on clear communication, thoughtful interior design, collaborative ex*****on, and an obsession with the details that matter.

From Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Indore and Saputara to projects beyond India, our process stays consistent because good design isn't about where you are. It's about how you work.

Different skylines. Different contexts. One design philosophy.

Which city should we add next?
