This one restored civil liberties. Restricted Emergency powers. Added safeguards to prevent future misuse.
One amendment expanded control. The next one deliberately pulled it back.
That ability to self-correctโ€”even after a dark chapterโ€”is the true strength of Indiaโ€™s Republic.

Today morning on the streets here in Ahmedabad, I saw a boy trying hard to get his kite up.
Wind was blowing one way. He kept running the other way โ€” pulling, running faster, getting frustrated.
Kite refused to fly. Not because he wasn't trying enough. Just because he was going against the wind.

I smiled and said: "Don't fight the wind. Turn and run with it."

The boy turned. Ran the new way. Kite went up smooth and high.

Life and work feel the same sometimes. More effort doesn't always win. A small change in direction does.
