๐๐ TRACTOR PARADE THROUGH MONIVEA VILLAGE FOR MILES OF HOPE ๐๐
Tomorrow, we are asking the people of Monivea and surrounding areas to come out and give a huge welcome and show of support to Michael Keegan and Anthony Killarney as part of their incredible Miles of Hope journey.
Michael and Anthony are currently making their way from Mizen Head to Malin Head on a journey of almost 700km, raising vital funds and awareness for Pieta and 3Ts โ Turn the Tide of Su***de.
What makes this journey even more special is the tractor Michael is driving โ a beautifully restored Deutz D40L, once owned by his grandfather, Charlie Keegan. Charlie made history in 1964 when he became the first person from the Republic of Ireland to win the World Ploughing Championships, driving this very tractor.
Now, over 60 years later, that same tractor is once again embarking on an incredible journey โ this time carrying an important message of hope, support and the importance of reaching out and talking to someone when things get tough.
Anthony will be accompanying Michael along the route in his 1971 Chevy pick-up, providing support and, no doubt, plenty of craic and banter along the way!
๐ We are inviting tractors of all makes and sizes to join the parade through Monivea Village and show your support.
