🏗️⚡ Marvel Electrical Engineering Powers Ahead on 11,000 sq.m School ⚡🏗️

It’s always great to see progress on site when the 2nd fix stage commences.

At Marvel Electrical Engineering, our team is now commencing the 2nd fix on an impressive new build, an 11,000 sq. metre school in Co. Wicklow, which will features over 50 classrooms and associated areas.

With 1st fix works nearing completion in most areas, the building is really beginning to take shape.

This is an exciting stage where the project starts to come alive, and our team is working hard to ensure all electrical installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Another fantastic project for Marvel Electrical Engineering to be part of, supporting the delivery of modern educational facilities for the future. 👏

🌍⚡ Building a Greener Future for our Schools⚡🌍

Marvel Electrical Engineering is delighted to be coming to the end of the electrical works for a major energy and decarbonisation retrofit in a School in Co Wexford. Our team is now completing the final items on site and bringing this important project to a successful close following a tight Summer programme.

This retrofit forms part of Ireland's Climate Action REPowerEU Schools Energy Retrofit Pathfinder Programme.

The upgrades include:

✅ Heat pumps
✅ LED lighting
✅ Building Managment Controls
✅ Mechanical heat recovery ventilation
✅ All associated services including new DB's, Plant Room, Containment etc

— to deliver a significantly improved Building Energy Rating (BER) and create a sustainable, energy-efficient learning environment for pupils and staff.

Marvel Electrical Engineering is proud to collaborate with Sensori Group on this project, delivering yet another successful outcome.

Last week, we have commenced cable installation across the site, marking a key step forward in delivering the electrical infrastructure.

With the containment works now well advanced, our team is operating across all areas of the project, installing power, lighting with the highest attention to quality and safety.

The containment systems have provided a solid foundation for a smooth and efficient cable installation process.

A huge well done to the Marvel team for their hard work, professionalism, and teamwork in keeping the project moving forward.

With the sun shining today, our site supervisor Ian Moran took the opportunity to hold this week’s Toolbox Talk outdoors with some of the Marvel team on one of our projects. A great way to keep safety at the forefront while making the most of the weather!

A huge congratulations to Billy Murphy, one of our 1st-year apprentices, for receiving a safety award from the main contractor BAM on this project. This is Marvel’s second safety award on this site, highlighting our team's ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. Well done, Billy! 👏

Marvel Electrical Engineering is making great strides on our latest Department of Education Project!

Over the past few weeks, our team has been hard at work installing the electrical containment systems, including cable trays, trunking, ladders and baskets. This essential phase ensures a well-structured and efficient electrical infrastructure, forming the backbone of a safe and modern learning environment.
