TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE
All of Home Hub’s housing units provide best-in-class structural, thermal and acoustic performance. All our hubs are built using a unique rapid fit, easy to build highly insulated outdoor building system which is fully demountable and re-useable.
Unlike timber structures, our hubs offer high levels of energy efficiency and airtightness which mean very little heating is required. And unlike traditional timber garden rooms, our engineered hubs are maintenance free.
Our Hubs offer excellent thermal performance due to the use of Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPS) in the external walls, floors and roof. SIPs are prefabricated, high performance, lightweight, building panels that can be used in floors, walls and roofs. They are an advanced method of construction that offer all the benefits of traditional construction but significantly reduces manufacturing and installation times, as well as reducing carbon footprint.
Unlike timber structures, our hubs offer high levels of energy efficiency and airtightness, so little heating is required. This system also ensures no structural gaps and excellent air tightness.
