💡 The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity Summer Lunch💡

Last Friday, Walls Construction was proud to attend The Lighthouse Charity Summer Lunch at the Mansion House, Dublin, as one of the events main sponsors.

Bringing together over 500 professionals from across the industry, the event highlighted the importance of supporting mental health and wellbeing within the construction sector. Through its vital services, Lighthouse continues to make a meaningful difference to the lives of construction workers and their families.

We would like to thank and congratulate everyone involved in organising this fantastic event, including our H&S Manager,
Alan Worrall, Vice Chair of the Lighthouse Club Ireland Committee, whose commitment to promoting wellbeing across the industry is widely recognised and greatly valued.

It was inspiring to see the construction community come together in support of such an important cause.

Through our 3-year partnership with Meath Camogie, we're proud to support young athletes both on and off the pitch, helping to build confidence, skills, and pathways for the future.

This year, we welcomed the involvement of under 16 Meath Camogie players in our Transition Year programme, sharing our thoughts and advice with young students who already demonstrate many of the qualities essential in the construction industry and the world of work, including dedication, preparation, teamwork, and a strong commitment to achieving their goals.

By bringing together sport, mentorship, and innovation, we're providing opportunities for players to learn from our team, explore potential career paths and gain valuable insights while continuing to pursue their ambitions in camogie.

We're proud to support the next generation both in sport and beyond and look forward to continuing this partnership with Meath Camogie.

We are proud to announce our partnership with Irish professional cyclist and World Champion .

Lara made history as the first Irish woman to win a track cycling world title, claiming gold in the Elimination Race at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships — a landmark achievement for Irish cycling. Her success across track and road reflects the discipline, resilience and ambition required to compete at the highest level of international sport.

At Walls, we are committed to backing elite Irish athletes who represent the country on the world stage.
We are also proud to be delivering the new National Velodrome and Badminton Centre for , a transformative facility that will support current and future generations of athletes.

Lara recently visited our headquarters to officially mark the beginning of this partnership and to spend time with members of our team. In the coming weeks, we look forward to welcoming her back to connect with our wider staff and share more about her journey.

We look forward to supporting Lara over the coming years as she competes at the sport’s biggest events and continues to build on an already remarkable career.

Our Christmas Jumper Day on our Clongriffin and Murphystown Way projects brought plenty of colour, fun and festive spirit!

This year, we proudly supported Praxis Clongriffin Day Service which provides dedicated services and a safe, inclusive environment for adults with learning disabilities, while LauraLynn, based on Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18, provides specialist care services to meet the needs of children with life limiting conditions and their families throughout Ireland.

Thank you to everyone who took part and by donating to these worthy local causes.
