An other successfully completed project, Quality hotel leisure centre in Youghal Co. Corkhttps://www.facebook.com/search/108678885829970/local_search?surface=sist
which was originally heated by Lpg Boilers. We have build an external boiler room in the container in our workshop. New boiler room was than delivered on the site , positioned on the roof of the leisure centre and connected to the existing hydraulics. We have changed swimming pool and whirlpool bath heat exchangers. The entire air handling unit was also changed for a new much more efficient dehumidifier made by Dantherm in Denmark.
The leisure centre temperatures of swimming pool , whirlpool bath , showers and pool hall are now controlled remotely by AC Heating technicians.
The leisure centre now operates on 25% of it's original heating cost.
By implementing energy efficient Air water heating system with advanced xCC building management controls from AC Heating, and installing a new Dantherm energy efficient air handling unit the following CO2 savings are achieved.
138,825 Liters of Lpg used by 90% efficient gas boilers would produce 231,129 Kg of CO2.
The new energy efficient heating system will use 155,817Kwh of electricity annually. This will produce 82,115 Kg of Co2 Annually.
Summary:
Annual Co2 Production prior installation of the energy efficient heating system: 231,129 Kg Annual Co2 Production after the installation of the energy efficient heating system: 82,115 Kg
Total Co2 Annual savings: 149,014 Kg
If the leisure center would be still producing 231,129 Kg of Co2 Annually, 1238 New pine trees would have to planted to absorb Co2 Emissions
If the leisure center uses 155,817 Kw of electricity annually instead of Lpg, 308 New pine trees would have to planted to absorb Co2 Emissions
Because of the fact the hotel is now using energy efficient heating system
930 less pine trees have to be planted annually.
