Want to learn how to grow your own plants from cuttings? You’re in luck!
Grab a seat for a demonstration with horticulturist Aoife Munn. Who doesn’t want to multiply plants for free!

Whether you’re an experienced gardener, a plant enthusiast, a flower farmer or anything in between, this is an hour that will set you up for success. You’re so welcome to join us for this in person meet up at Blanchardstown Library. There will be plenty of time for questions and you’ll go home bursting with ideas too.

Your seed sowing year. Have you thought about it?

Which seeds to sow when? Inside or outside? Successional sowing to avoid those gluts and enjoy harvest and flowers all year?

Let’s figure it out together. Come along to our seed swap next Friday 27th at Blanchardstown Library. We'll be there at 2PM.

Thistles are an absolute banqueting hall for bees and other insects ! 🐝💕 I love the contrast between delicate, fluffy down and assertive, sharp spines , and of course insects love the nectar.

This painting, “Banquet for Bees” will be in the Water Colour Society of Ireland’s annual exhibition, which opens to the public on Sunday in the Farmleigh Gallery in the Phoenix Park. Update: 🔴 SOLD

| Free Talk | Biodiversity - Gardening in tune with nature.
We’re happy to be back at Blanchardstown Library this month and utterly delighted to be joined by our friend and horticulturist, Aoife Munn. https://www.aoifemunn.ie/

Most of us care about choices we make daily and know of the huge environmental challenges we face in Ireland and beyond, from habitat loss and decreasing biodiversity to the threats faced by bees, other pollinators and sweet little wild souls. Aoife will help us learn how to create a place that is a sanctuary and filled with life and understand how to be creative without causing damage to the nature living around us. Huge thanks to Fingal Libraries for their ongoing support.

We look forward to seeing you on Friday 29th September 2-4 PM at Blanchardstown Library. Bring your planty friends along for a cuppa and a chat. As always, everyone is welcome.

Pop-up Plant sale (in support of Blanchardstown Gardening Group)

Come along and meet up with like minded garden lovers at Ed3n Café and treat yourself to a beverage! Find us this Saturday 8th July, with a small but lovely selection of plants which members have lovingly grown themselves and donated for the purpose of raising funds for our Gardening Group. We'll be there from 12-2pm.

We love the Garden of Eden inspired Café which is located in the heart of Blanchardstown Village. It took two long years to open this lovely place. Not only are the staff lovely, the café serves bubble tea, coffee, pastries, sambos, and cakes. Truly a slice of heaven! We're delighted to spend some time here together and I must say a huge thanks to this wonderful community for the warm welcome.

If you have surplus plants to requirements that you'd like to contribute, please come along before midday or get in touch to arrange collection or delivery before Saturday. If you have empty pots, please bring them too, so that we can re-use our pots for the next big plant event.
