We are honoured to announce that PEET DULLAERT has been named laureate of the inaugural “New Crafts Awards”, launched by Accor Group and the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode Haute Couture Week .

Created to celebrate a new generation of design, craft and innovation, the prize brings together the worlds of hospitality, couture and culture. As laureate, Peet Dullaert will develop a special object-design collaboration for Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in the months ahead.

A continuation of the House’s exploration of movement, and modern craftsmanship — where couture extends beyond the body into lived experience.

吴磊 wears a custom PEET DULLAERT couture tuxedo to the Weibo Movie Awards Ceremony 2026, where he received the Outstanding Filmmaker of the Year award.

Created exclusively for Leo Wu, the look is cut from lightweight summer cool wool and silk, and hand-embellished with Crystals by PRECIOSA. Tailored for modern movement, the tuxedo is designed to embrace and flow around the body.

Peet Dullaert is about time … and the discipline of paying attention … For him, time is not an abstract concept but an active material. “A form of regard — the French word for looking — matters for me, as it allows clarity to emerge,” he tells Bazaar.

In a couture landscape often preoccupied with noise, Peet’s contribution is something rarer: a belief in nuance, exchange and time. “Work that moves slowly, and exchanges where we listen to each other carefully,” he says, “will always have its place.”

And in that insistence on listening to fabric, to body, to process, his couture finds its integrity.
