Nestled along the iconic Huangpu River, Shanghai Arch redefines luxury living in Pudong. This large-scale comprehensive residential and commercial development located in the most prestigious area of central Shanghai, spans a site area of 6 hectares. The project is planned in 3 phases and consists of 13 apartment blocks, 23 houses, 1 clubhouse complex and 1 service apartment tower. The apartments are arranged in three groups, aligned in a curved layout with gardens in between. The houses are positioned by the river side, with the apartment blocks directly behind them to allow for views over the river. The design language is undeniably simple and modern, relying mainly on the interplay between natural stones and metal cladding. The river-facing façade of the development generally has tall windows; and together with balconies, it offers the units uninterrupted views and maximum visual connection with the river. The project has become one of the most sought after residential addresses in the city of Shanghai, even before its completion.

Phase 3 includes four residential towers with gently curved balconies that offer sweeping panoramic views of the river. Closer to the river are four exquisitely crafted houses, showcasing an elegant interplay of sleek metal cladding and natural stone façades. Surrounded by lush greenery, the development perfectly balances serene tranquillity with the vibrancy of urban life, exemplifying exceptional design and craftsmanship in one of Shanghai’s most prestigious locations.

To create a more comfortable, eco-friendly workplace, we are embracing Biz-Green attire! By adopting a "light and breathable" dress code, we can reduce the energy demand of office air conditioning while maintaining a professional yet stylish look.

Here are the simple ways our team is embracing the challenge:
💛 Fewer layers: Shedding heavy blazers.
💚 Breathable fabrics: Choosing lighter, cool-wearing materials.
💙 No-tie approach: Opening the collar for optimal comfort.

This simple shift supports employee wellbeing and helps build a greener Hong Kong. Mark your calendars for 𝟐 𝐒𝐞𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐖𝐞𝐝) to celebrate 𝐁𝐢𝐳-𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 with us!

In 2026, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects marks its 70th anniversary with a lecture series on the development of Hong Kong. The series examines key themes in the city’s urban growth to deepen understanding of Hong Kong’s urban evolution.

The finale features our former Chairman, Mr. Edward S.T. Ho, FHKIA, SBS, OBE, JP (HKIA Gold Medalist 2025), and his captivating talk as he looks back on the 50-year history of private residential building development in Hong Kong. There is also a rare, forward-looking dialogue on Hong Kong’s future between two generations of HKIA Presidents and Legislative Council Members, with Ms. Julia Lau and HKIA Vice-President Mr. Allen P**n.

Mr. Ho has shared valuable insights on landmark projects that helped meet post-war housing demands and foster the formation of a middle class, including Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Tai Koo Shing, Chi Fu Fa Yuen, Discovery Bay, and more.
