1. Depth and width of excavation is determined by engineer.
2. Edges of excavation must be firm, straight and perpendicular to the base of excavation.
3. Challenges and issues such as structural failure (collapse of building), cracks, misalignment and rising dampness arise from poor Substructure Works.

1. Soil test is required before you commence your project.

2. For simple projects, you may look out for some basic signs of the soil, as I explain in the video. Failure to do so and the effects show in your building.

3. Finally, you need architectural drawings, estimated budget and building permits before you commence construction.

Our Waterproofing Treatment.

Any issues and good practices that get ignored in the Substructure stage resurfaces in the later stages or after completion of the building/structure.

We are applying bituminous paint to protect our blockwork, footings, pile caps, retaining walls, and bridge abutments.
